Kate is a Princess, shes Princess William. Shes not Princess Kate though because shes not a royal in her own right.
She’s a princess to us, that’s all that matters.
Catherine IS NOT A PRINCESS! She is the Duchess of Cambridge, not the Princess William. Nevertheless, she looks great at this event. However, I think Anna Kournikova outshined her and everyone else. I mean, she looked AMAZING!!!!
jlo is much better then pipa
wow jen garner and jen lopez on the same red carpet… cool.
@carling5 She is a princess, HRH Princess William of Wales and when Prince Charles becomes King, she will become Princess of Wales….when William becomes King she has Royal approval to be call Queen Catherine.
@snico she is not a princess; she is the Duchess of Cambridge; there is no such title as Princess William of Wales; the queen gave William the title of Duke of Cambridge so that Kate would have a title; as a commoner she didn’t have a title; if the queen did not give Will the title of Duke of Cambridge, Kate would just be Mrs Windsor; the rest of it you got right
@Fureyn She is automatically called Princess William of Wales. Her full title is ‘Her Royal Highness Princess William Arthur Philip Louis’ . She will never be called Princess Cathering until Charles takes the throne, he will then hand his title to William and she will then become Princess of Wales. When William becomes King, Kate will become the Queen Consort.
@snico check out royal.goc.uk the official website of the british monarchy
@snico sorry for typo “royal.gov.uk”
@Fureyn Been on that site, thats where I got the info from
@Fureyn even if the queen didn’t give them the title, she still would have been Princess William because she married a prince. She’s not (officially) “Princess Catherine”, because “Princess (first name)” is reserved by descendants of the sovereign (Princess Anne, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, etc). Zara Phillips (Anne’s daughter) and Lady Louise (Edward’s daughter) don’t have the princess titles because their parents chose not to have it for them.
@smichelle65 I believe her official title is “HRH The Duchess of Cambridge”; if William did not accept the title of Duke of Cambridge then she would be called Princess William of Wales; apparently the queen did not want Kate to be called princess (at least not at this time) since Kate is not a princess royal
@smichelle65 Princess Anne is the only Princess Royal; Beatrice & Eugenie are Princesses but not Princesses Royal; can get confusing
@snico ok; as far as I know, Kates official title is “HRH The Duchess of Cambridge”; if Will did not accept the title of Duke of Cambridge then she would be called Princess William of Wales; the queen gave them that title because she did not want Kate to use the title Princess as she is not a Princess Royal; once Will becomes Prince of Wales, then Kate can be called Princess of Wales; clear as mud isn’t it
@Fureyn I’m not confused; I understand that Anne is “HRH The Princess Royal”. All “Princess Royal”s are royal princesses, but not all “royal princesses” are “The Princess Royal”.
BARBARA STREISAND IS THE ISRAEL SPY, WHO ONLY SHOWS up at events to promote ISRAEL…. she should be watched carefully…
Both Jennifer`s on same carpet… funny to see….
Murdoch corporate press scum is pushing Americans to worship Brit royalty and to monopolize all tabloid news
if anyone refused this invitation, it would be a great risk
Murdoch owns all US media
@snico Sorry, but you’re incorrect. Prince Charles is the Prince of Wales, not William. William’s mother was Diana, Princess of Wales (not Princess Diana as more commonly & incorrectly referred ). Only those BORN to a prince or monarch (i.e. Princes Charles, Andrew, William & Harry and Princesses Eugenie & Beatrice) have Prince or Princess in front of their names. Kate Middleton’s official royal title is Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. Camilla Parker Bowles is now the Princess of Wales.
@carling5 So is William, The children of the Princess of Wales take the title Prince or Princess, they then take the territorial designation from their father which is Wales. So William becomes Prince William of Wales, his dad is just the Prince of Wales. His full royal title is His Royal Highness Prince William Arthur Philip Louis, Duke of Cambridge, Earl of Strathearn, Baron Carrickfergus, Royal Knight Companion of the Most Noble Order of the Garter……yes it is confusing
somebody know who is the girl with white dress and 1:19??
@tracegirl1616 Blake Lively

Thanks for the video, Josiah! **Just a note: Catherine is not a “Princess”. She is the Duchess of Cambridge, among her other titles. When Will is made Prince of Wales, likely when his father Charles becomes King, she will be the “Princess of Wales”.**
